"Hello Skipper, Navigator here, about 30 minutes to land" Joshua heard the voice come from the radio box on his desk, and figured he better let the dock master know that another Airship was soon to arrive.
This box made from 1/2" thick hardwood plywood and covered in faux leather will really catch attention at the next Con or Airship Race. Starting with a 1960's era fighter jet radio and the antenna from a 1950's era radio this box is a real look back into the past. Flipping the middle switch turns on 2 lights hidden under the silver shield. The other two switches are not hooked up but could be to allow switching from external speakers to the headset or allowing both to function. The external speakers provide a sound very reminiscent of the radios of old. The headset is fully functional and both hook to an I-pod or other music player with a 3.5mm plug.
The box measures 8" wide and 13" high and weighs about 15 lbs.
